EVENT DESCRIPTION
Did you know? Crochet burns more calories than knitting! Above all the aesthetics, crochet also brings about many health benefits, such as reducing stress and anxiety, improving memory and sharpening motor skills etc. Come join us in this beginner workshop where you will be guided along towards your very own crochet project through the curation of a Granny Square, which can be used as a coaster!

- Introduction to crochet
- How to hold a crochet hook & yarn
- Basic crochet stitches
- Crochet a Granny Square to bring home!

ABOUT INSTRUCTOR
JOCE
A self-taught crocheter and knitter, Joce started her fibre arts journey during the covid lockdown, crocheting cup sleeves and hair scrunchies. She spends her time now designing and writing crochet patterns and publishes them online. Her style leans towards feminine designs that are practical for everyday wear.
